Dave Adams took Swansea's academy to category 1 status

DAVE ADAMS is doing consultancy work for the Football Association of Wales following his abrupt departure from Everton.

The 37-year-old left Everton just a week after he had been officially announced as Head of Academy Coaching at the club.

His departure came just two days after Peter Vint - who had appointed Adams and would have worked very closely with him - quit as Academy Director ‘to pursue other opportunities’.

Joel Waldron, son of Head of Academy Recruitment Martin Waldron, stepped up to take on Vint’s responsibilities.

Adams had previously worked at Swansea for almost three years, taking the club to Academy 1 status.
