MANAGER: Pep Guardiola
A disciple of Johan Cruyff, having been a linchpin of the Dutchman's European Cup winning Barcelona side. Graduated from La Masia to manage the side himself, leading them to unprecedented levels of success, with three La Ligas, three Copa del Reys and two Champion League titles during his four years in charge. Also won three league titles with Bayern Munich, although the Champions League eluded him. Arrived at City in the summer of 2016 and looking for his first trophy with the English side.
ASSISTANT: Domenec Torrent
Guardiola's most trusted lieutenant, who can be seen alongside him on the bench on matchday. Managed Palamos and Girona in Spain before becoming Guardiola's assistant at Barcelona B in 2008. With him ever since.
ASSISTANT: Rodolfo Borrell
Promoted from Academy Technical Director, a role he had held since 2014, by Guardiola last summer. Previously Technical Director and Head of Coaching at Liverpool's Academy.
ASSISTANT: Brian Kidd
A European Cup winner with Manchester United, who was assistant manager of the Reds for seven years. Joined City in the same role in 2009. Guardiola kept him on to "help me to get to know the players."
ASSISTANT: Mikel Arteta
Spent five seasons as a player at Arsenal, having also played for Rangers and Everton. Brought to City by Guardiola in summer of 2016. Currently completing his Uefa Pro Licence.
PERFORMANCE ANALYST: Carles Planchart
Worked with Guardiola at Barca B, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Says Guardiola likes to sit down with him as soon as he can after a match has finished to analyse it on the laptop.
GOALKEEPING COACH: Xabier Mancisidor
Brought to City by Manuel Pellegrini, with whom he had worked at Malaga. Former Majorca goalkeeper kept on at Etihad by Guardiola.
FITNESS COACH: Lorenzo Buenaventura
Worked with Guardiola at Barcelona and Bayern. Oversees the team and individual fitness programmes. Regarded as crucial to the high-energy, fast-pressing style of the manager.
HEAD OF PLAYER SUPPORT & PROTOCOL: Manel Estiarte
An unusual job title but a crucial role: Estiarte is Guardiola's mentor and sounding board. Guardiola once said: "Managers are very, very alone. It is good for me to have him here." The Catalan was once Spain's finest water polo player and won gold at the 1996 Olympics.
OPPOSITION ANALYST: Richard Bredice
Joined from Reading in March 2013, initially as assistant analyst. Promoted to opposition analyst in July 2014.
PERFORMANCE THERAPIST: Ben Thompson
Has been at City since July 2007. Also works with Welsh national team.
HEAD OF SPORTS MEDICINE: Max Sala
City's long-standing team doctor. Despite the recruitment of Eduardo Mauri (below) and regular rumours about his future following Guardiola's arrival, Sala remains. A graduate of the University of Ferrara in Italy.
DOCTOR: Eduardo Mauri
Joined City last summer. Played for Espanyol before qualifying as a doctor and working for them in that capacity. Went on to Qatar national team and AS Eupen in Belgium. Another Catalan on the staff.
HEAD OF HUMAN PERFORMANCE: Sam Erith
Joined City in summer of 2011 as Head of Sports Science after seven years in the same role with Spurs. Went on to become Global Lead for Human Performance with City, overseeing their network of clubs. Worked with England at Euro 2016.
SPORTS SCIENTIST: Barry Hamilton
Hails from Blackrock in Dublin, where he played at a semi-pro level. Joined City from STATSports. Worked for Croatia at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
NUTRITIONIST: Silvia Tremoleda
Worked with Guardiola at Barcelona, where she spent four seasons. Left in 2012 but continued to work with Lionel Messi afterwards. Personal friend of Chief Executive Ferran Soriano and Director of Football Txiqui Begiristain
PERFORMANCE PSYCHOLOGIST: Pete Lindsay
Started out as an analyst for HSBC before moving into psychology. Worked for English Institute of Sport prior to joining City in August 2015. Also a director of Mindflick, a private company providing coaching and consultancy for business executives.
HEAD PHYSIO: Lee Nobes
Completed a decade at City in October 2017. Promoted to Head Physic under Roberto Mancini. Originally from Jersey, where he played for amateur side Jersey Scottish.
SOFT TISSUE THERAPIST: Mark Sertori
Played in the lower leagues as a striker and centre half. Retrained as a sports therapist with the PFA and has previously worked with Bolton and Newcastle.
SPORTS THERAPIST: Massimo Simonetta
Moved to the club in July 2014, having previously worked in Italy.
LEAD PERFORMANCE ANALYST: Stephen Rands
Formerly Head of Performance Analysis at Scunthorpe. Joined City in September 2011 and was promoted to Lead Performance Analyst in August 2016.
PERFORMANCE ANALYST: Harry Dunn
Succeeded Rands as Head of Performance Analysis at Scunthorpe, then joined him at City in September 2014.
PHYSIO: Federico Genovesi
Qualified osteopath who previously worked at Lazio and Palermo in Italy.
