Ranieri will attend the FA Cup final at Wembley

CLAUDIO RANIERI says he has not been approached by Leeds United about their vacant manager's job.

Ranieri has been linked with the role following Garry Monk's shock departure yesterday.

But the Italian, speaking from his home in London, told TGG: "I don't know anything about this Leeds story. I haven't spoken to them.

"I'm in London to watch the Cup final tomorrow. I'll be supporting my old team Chelsea of course."

When asked if he would be interested in the Leeds job, Ranieri said: "I prefer not to speculate."

The Italian has been out of work since being fired by Leicester in February - just nine months after leading the Foxes to the Championship.
