Weaver left Huddersfield at the start of August

STEVE WEAVER has been officially unveiled as Norwich City’s new Academy manager.

As TGG reported on Friday, Weaver has been working with Norwich for several weeks and has already held meetings with his staff. However, the club was reluctant to announce his appointment because Sporting Director Stuart Webber had agreed not to take any staff with him from previous club Huddersfield for a six-month period.

That moratorium does not officially expire until October 4th. Weaver, who left Huddersfield on August 3rd, worked with Webber at Huddersfield, Wolves and Wrexham.

He replaces Richard Money, who left Norwich in the middle of August by mutual consent.
